Head of Brand & Creative
Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) is a newly established entity under the State Tourism Agency and is national tourism organization. Our core tasks include promoting Azerbaijan as a holiday destination, innovative marketing in the most internationally promising markets and the transfer of our knowledge of guests and markets to the domestic tourism industry. In this way we make an important contribution to the competitiveness of the holiday destination Azerbaijan.
ATB are looking for a Head of Brand & Creative, to define, drive and own the evolution of destination brand and tourism board brand family through creative re-invigoration and imaginative campaign curation. You will be thinking strategically about our Brand, and how we define, position and deliver that most affectively from a B2B and B2C perspective for our stakeholders, through various touch points including media, online, ooh, lounges, etc. You will also be responsible for defining and executing how we present our brands (physical and digital products) to a potential and existing global customer base.
As one of the senior leadership team within the department, you will be reporting directly to the Brand and Marketing Director and given the scope and autonomy to shape the brand and your team based on your strategic vision.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful candidate, you will be a brand strategist; a strong business influencer and an inspirational leader of people. You'll bring an obvious ability to take strategic concepts and translate these in to beautifully executed, technically accurate final print ready design.
It is essential that you have a proven senior level career background within Brand, Creative and Design and the ability to work with relative autonomy. You will have natural creative flair and a sharp eye for design, with ability to recognise successful brand narrative creation.
You must be able to combine creative flair with a high level of technical ability. You'll spend most of your time working closely with the wider team to ensure creative strategies are accurately translated into finished artwork. It's therefore essential that as the manager you're an expert when it comes to producing first class artwork across a broad range of channels and an ability to turn concepts into well-crafted design quickly. It's imperative that you've a recent, well thought through portfolio of work and are able to justify your work, the role you played in campaigns and bring a piece of work to life with a clear explanation of the brief.
• Higher education
• A history of success within strategic brand development from within a large business or brand/ creative agency.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative, Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
